The annual SEDMHA U9 Jamboree is built around what hockey should be all about …FUN!! We make our Jamboree about having a great time on and off the ice.
TOURNAMENT DATE & LOCATION
Tournament Dates
Starts: Thursday, March 5, 2026
Ends: Sunday, Sunday, March 8, 2026
Games start Thursday and run continuously throughout Sunday.
Location
All games will take place at the RBC Centre (4-Pad) 259 Commodore Drive, Dartmouth, offering four full-sized ice surfaces under one roof.

Divisions
- U9 Advancing
- U9 Intermediate

NEW THIS SEASON. All Games will be played on full ice surface. No half ice games in 2026.
*A minimum of five teams is required to form a female division.
General Information
Player Ages
All player ages are determined as of December 31, 2025. Please note that all divisions follow Nova Scotia hockey standards, which may differ from those in your province or state.
Team Eligibility
All participating teams must be registered U9 minor hockey teams. Final team placement in divisions will be determined at the discretion of the tournament committee.
Registration
Registration will open at 8am on November 2 2025, and will close when (54) teams have been confirmed. Payments will be due by December 15, 2025. Deadline for a team to withdraw with full refund is January 15, 2026.

Format and Game Guarantee
Our tournament is a fun filled jamboree and for the first time in 2026 will be played on full ice.
Because of our game format of 2 x 20mins, all teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games.
Game Length
- All games consist of two 20-minute continuous time periods.
- Ice is flooded every hour so be aware there may not be a flood in the middle of your game.
TEAMS MUST BE READY TO PLAY UP TO 20 MINUTES EARLY.
Entry Fee
The all-inclusive entry fee is $800 per team. This fee covers team registration and free admission for all parents, fans, and spectators—no additional charges at the door.
All fees will be due by December 15, 2025. Our tournament also offer a full refund to teams who withdraw on or before January 15, 2026.
SEDMHA U9 Jamboree Awards
All players will receive the coveted, specially designed U9 Jamboree T-Shirt. The Jamboree has a wide array of awards including medals to all participants.

All transportation during the tournament is the responsibility of each individual team.
